Yes, SUV rentals are a great way to explore Dubai. SUVs offer extra space, comfort, and a higher driving position, making them suitable for both city driving and longer trips across the UAE.
Our fleet includes everything from basic models to high-end luxury SUVs like Range Rover and Mercedes.
SUV rental in Dubai is more affordable than most people imagine. Rates start from around AED 69 per day for compact models. Average prices for mid-size SUV rental hover around AED 750. Modern and luxury models can exceed AED 1000 per day.
Although most SUVs are designed to handle challenging terrain, most Dubai car rental providers do not permit off-road driving. Off-roading places additional strain on the engine and key components and can also result in cosmetic damage that requires additional costs to restore the vehicle’s condition. No SUVs on the Renty platform are available for off-road driving. If a desert safari is part of your plans, book it with a licensed tour operator and keep your rental SUV on the paved roads.
Clients who rent a car through Renty must sign a rental agreement. But most agreements will have a mileage limit in place. Going over the limit will usually incur additional charges after vehicle hand-back. In some cases, a rental provider may provide a flexible parametr - or even offer unlimited mileage. Clients on a budget should try to stick below the ML if possible. Calculating the average amount of miles/kilometers needed prior to rental will ensure no surprise bills at the end of the agreement.
Residents of the UAE are usually required to provide only a valid UAE driving licence. Some international licences are also accepted across the UAE, depending on the rental provider.
If you are a tourist, to rent an SUV you need a valid passport, a visa entry stamp, and a valid driving licence from your home country.
Basic insurance is included in the rental price for SUVs. CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) can be added for additional protection against accidental damage to the rented vehicle. CDW provides coverage for damage caused by the driver.
Each car rented via Renty will come with a set amount of fuel. This is usually enough for a few miles’ worth of driving (more than enough to visit a nearby filling station). The driver is responsible for keeping the vehicle properly refuelled during the rental period. Any fines or costs resulting from running out of fuel are the renter’s responsibility.
